At the recent Awards Banquet held at the CFMS Show in San Jose, the Golden Bear Committee was pleased to present three Golden Bear Awards to deserving members of the California Federation. This Award is intended to honor CFMS members who have given outstanding service to the Federation which goes beyond that which is expected in the usual course of Federation activities. She belongs to the Peninsula Gem & Geology Society in Los Altos, and has been Field Trip chair, Federation Director, Secretary, and President. Our second Honoree was Colleen McGann who was the 2006 CFMS President
and the CFMS representative to the AFMS. She belongs to the
