Mrs. Dorothy Craig, past president of both the American and California Federations, was awarded the coveted Woodruff Trophy at the recent combined American-Midwest Show and Convention in St. Paul, Minn. The beautiful trophy, shown in the picture above with its proud winner, is awarded annually at the American Federation Convention for the best entry that has previously been won at one of the regional convention-shows. This is the second competition for the award, which is perpetual. The attractive cup was donated to the American Federation for the encouragement of national competition by Harry Woodruff of Washington, D. C., and current president of the American Federation.
This is the second time the trophy has been won by a Californian, last year's winner being Mrs. Vivienne Dosse of Fontana, Calif., who won at the combined American-Eastern Federation show that was held at Washington, D. C. in 1955.
