2. UTAH 2: Comming south from Wyoming with stops in Flaming Gorge, Green River, Goblin Valley, Hankville, Capitol Reef, Anasazi State Park, Posey Lake on Hell's Backbone and Elderhostel stop-over in St. George.

3. ROCKHOUNDING IN WYOMING AND IDAHO (TVRC, Jackson Hole, Wiggins Fork, E. Fork Salmon River).

4. THE SAPPHIRES OF MONTANA (Copper Basin, Casties, El Dorado Bar, Lovestone, Spokane Bar).

5. INLAND PASSAGE TO ALASKA (Seattle, Ketchikan, Sitka, Juneau, Skagway, Tracey Arm Fjiord).

6. SOUTHEAST CORNER OF OREGON (Succor Creek, Leslie Gulch, Malheur).

7. CENTRAL OREGON - Prineville, the Rockhound's "Mecca", Maury Mountain, Hampton Butte, and Newbury Crater which includes the world's largest obsidian deposit - as well as other points of interest.

8. UTAH, WYOMING, & OREGON BY THE WAY (Pipestone Springs NM, Vermillion Cliffs, Mt. Nebo, Eden Valley, TVRC, Bitch Creek, John Day and Richaardson's Ranch).

9. TRACKING THE ANASAZI -Mesa Verde, Hovenweep, Lowry Ruins, Monument Valley, and Canyon de Chelly.

10. THE PLAINS INDIANS - The Crow and Northern Cheyenne Reservations in Montana. Reviewing the Battle of the Little Big Horn (Custer's Last Stand).

11. SOUTHWEST CORNER OF UTAH - (Hurricane, Panguich, Brianhead, and Cedar city)

12. A BUS TOUR OF WESTERN TURKEY - A Biblical visit to old Greek and roman cities.


Mr. Flaharty's slide programs consist of scenery, rockhounding locations and routes to take. Dick usually brings a small display of materials collected in the areas visited.
