EVAPORITE MINERALS OF SEARLES LAKE (located near the town of Trona, San Bernardino County) - Steve worked as a Geologist for Kerr-McGee Chemical Corp., former operator of the Trona facilities from 1979 to 1982 . DEATH VALLEY, LAND OF CONTRAST - (lecture with 85 slides) There are thousands of natural oil seeps in California from which crude oil, tar, natural gas and water rise to the surface of the earth.
